The Denver South Giving Grocery provides fresh, nutritious, and culturally significant food and personal care to South High School students. We are currently serving over 200 students per week, every Thursday after school during the academic year.

The Denver South PTSA is the fiscal sponsor of the Denver South Giving Grocery but provides no monetary support. In addition to monetary donations and ongoing support from the South community, we receive weekly in-kind donations of fresh meat, dairy, produce, and other items from Food for Thought, Food Bank of the Rockies, Stigma, and We Don't Waste.

How to help the Giving Grocery

You can make a tax-deductible donation below or send a check made out to Denver South PTSA to Denver South Giving Grocery, 1700 E. Louisiana Ave., Denver 80210.

We welcome donations of unopened products, food drives from local businesses, and new partnerships. Please contact Jen Frenkel for more information.

The Giving Grocery has a wonderful team of volunteers, and we aren’t looking for additional help at this time.
